If you run a Facebook page for your business, maintaining a high quality rating is essential to reach more followers and engage with your audience. However, if your page has received a violation for violating Facebook’s community standards, it can lead to reduced visibility and a lower quality rating.
If your Facebook page has received a violation, don’t worry. There are steps you can take to fix the issue and regain your high quality rating. Here are some tips to help you get started:
1. Review the Violation Notice
The first step is to review the violation notice from Facebook to understand why your page received a violation. Facebook will provide specific details about the violation, including which post or content on your page is in violation of its community standards.
2. Remove the Violating Content
Once you’ve reviewed the violation notice, remove the violating content from your page as soon as possible. This will help show Facebook that you take the violation seriously and are taking steps to rectify the issue.
3. Appeal the Violation
If you believe the violation was made in error, you can appeal the violation by following the steps provided by Facebook. This process may involve submitting additional information or making changes to the content in question.
4. Review Facebook’s Community Standards
It’s important to understand what is considered acceptable content on Facebook and what is not. Take the time to review Facebook’s community standards to ensure that all of your future content is in line with the guidelines.
5. Ensure Accurate Information About Your Business
Make sure that the information on your page, such as your address, phone number, and business hours, is accurate and up-to-date. This will help build trust with your followers and make it easier for them to find you.
6. Post High-Quality Content
Ensure that all of your future posts are high-quality and relevant to your target audience. This will help maintain your page’s high quality rating and increase engagement with your followers.
7. Encourage Engagement with Your Followers
Interacting with your followers is a great way to improve the quality of your page. Respond to comments, ask questions, and share other people’s content to build relationships and increase engagement.
In conclusion, fixing a Facebook page quality violation requires a commitment to following Facebook’s community standards and guidelines. By removing violating content, appealing the violation if necessary, and posting high-quality content, you can regain your high quality rating and reach more followers. Good luck!
I posted something on my Facebook Page that Facebook said went against their standards on harassment and bullying..I disagree with them , they put post back up and 1 week later they took the same post again saying it’s harassment and bullying and kept it down, but another Admin posted something and Facebook said it was hate speech, longer story short Page is Restricted but I can still post but only a couple hundred people now see the post.. I have over 370k followers and was getting over 65k reacts to most post.
Facebook also has taken the Page off of recommendation for other people to come in like or follow the page.. Will this be a forever thing or just a couple weeks thing?
I really don’t know how to get in touch with Facebook to ask them about this stuff and to tell them that I think it was Bull that they took a post down put it back up and then took the post down again and kept it down and yet gave me a restriction on the page.
